Bahamas man charged with robbing Segway tours

<div id="subtitle">Bahamas man charged in shotgun robberies of cruise passengers taking Segway tours in Nassau</div><div><p>A 21-year-old man has been charged with robbing two groups of cruise ship passengers with a shotgun as they toured the capital of Nassau on Segways.</p><p>Court officials say Dekota Von Lockhart of Nassau was arraigned Thursday on 16 counts of armed robbery. He was not represented by a lawyer and was not required to enter a plea.</p><p>At least three cruise ship companies have canceled excursions into some parts of Nassau since police reported the two robberies.</p><p>Bahamas tourism director Vernice Walkine says police have increased foot and car patrols in popular tourist areas in response to the incidents.</p><p>More than 2 million cruise passengers visit Nassau each year.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=65244543&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
