New York Times reports eBay set to sell Skype

According to a report of 'New York Times' released on 01 September 2009, internet auctioneer eBay plans to announce on 01 September 2009 a deal to sell its subsidiary Skype to a group of private investors. EBay has been set to sell Skype since long and said it was planning an initial public offering for Skype in 2010.
